Vision

Our Vision Statement

When God instructed Abraham to leave the comfort of his home in Haran, his relatives and everything that he might start fresh in another land (Genesis 12), Abraham received a vision. God gave Abraham the hope of fathering a great nation; in fact God said he (Abraham) could become the leader of many nations. Abraham felt compelled to follow this great vision, having nothing physically to rely on. Just as God gave Abraham a great vision, he also continues to give vision today for us. Therefore as pastor, I am sharing with you the vision that God has given me for Mount Ararat Christian Church family.

  1. To share and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to the whole man. This includes the development of man spiritually, mentally, economically and sociably.
  2. To compel every believer to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, to become totally dependent upon him through the ministries of this church.
  3. To make the Kingdom of God our primary life’s focus. Jesus said, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all things will be provided for you”. Matthew 6:33
  4. To understand the reality of the Kingdom of God and then begin to live as a Kingdom focused believer.
  5. To develop every believer to spiritual maturity through preaching, teaching, evangelism and discipleship.
  6. To become totally committed to God, permitting him to build an army of “sold out” individuals and families commissioned to do his will.

Finally, the goal of this vision is to bring glory to God by presenting Jesus Christ with as many Christlike disciples as we possibly can before he returns. Col. 1:28
